Kuşçu Mahallesi’nde gerçekleştirilen Türkiye Su Jeti ve Flyboard Şampiyonası’na; Kayseri Valisi Gökmen Çiçek, AK Parti Genel Başkan Yardımcısı Mehmet Özhaseki, Önceki Dönem Enerji ve Tabi Kaynaklar Bakanı Taner Yıldız, Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kocasinan Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, Melikgazi Belediye Başkanı Mustafa Palancıoğlu, Talas Belediye Başkanı Mustafa Yalçın, Türkiye Motosiklet Federasyonu Asbaşkanı Mahmut Nedim Akülke, il müdürleri, meclis üyeleri, kamu kurum ve kuruluşların temsilcileri ve binlerce vatandaş katıldı.
Protokol, Türkiye Su Jeti ve Flyboard Şampiyonasında kıyasıya yarışan sporcuları izledi. 75 sporcunun 7 kategoride mücadele ettiği etkinlikte, nefes kesen Fly board ve jet ski gösterileri, Kayserililerin büyük beğenisini kazandı. Özellikle sporcuların aksiyon dolu hareketleri vatandaşlar tarafından alkışlarla takip edildi. Yarışlar, open, pro stock (0-179 beygir), pro stock (180 beygir ve üstü), kadınlar kupası, gençler, flyboaard ve drag sınıflarında gerçekleştirildi.

Konuşmaların ardından kendi tarzıyla ön plana çıkan Manuş Baba ise müzik ziyafeti sundu. Akşam boyunca devam eden etkinlikte,Manuş Baba’nın vermiş olduğu konserle vatandaşlar gönüllerince eğlendi. Etkinlikten dolayı Başkan Çolakbayrakdar’a teşekkür eden Manuş Baba, Kayseri’de bulunduğundan çok mutlu olduğunu dile getirerek; “Kayseri’ye çok gez geldik ve her gelişimizde çok güzel ağırlandık. Ama ilginci ve en farklısı ise Kayseri’nin denizi Kuşçu’da bu konserimizdi. Böyle eşsiz manzarada konser vermemiz, en anlamlı bir etkinlik oldu. Buradan hatıralarla Kayseri’mizden ayrılacağız ve yeni konserlerde buluşmak temennisiyle” şeklinde konuştu.
