Geldiği günden beri Fakülte Dekanı ile de müthiş uyumlu çalışarak harika işlere imza atan ve fakülteden belli sebeplerden ayrılma sürecine giren yetişmiş akademik isimlerin , gidişini durdurup onların çalışma şartlarını ve kazançlarını , daha düne kadar tercih edilen hastanelerin boyutlarına çıkarmaya gayret eden, daha birkaç gün önce, hayırseverleri ikna ederek, değeri milyonlarca lira olan ve fakülte hastanesine devrim niteliğinde bir katkı ile, dünya çapında ameliyatların yapılmasına çok ciddi katkısı sağlayan, başhekim Prof. Dr. Fatih Horozoğlu, bu başarıları ile moral bulduğu tam bu sırada neden istifa etti ?
Çünkü asıl işi bunları yapmak olan ve geldiği günden beri, fakülteye çöreklenmiş, yıllardır ama yıllardır, her ay milyonlarca lirayı cukkalayan içerden ve dışardan pekiştirdikleri güç birliğiyle, her dönemde gemisini yürüten bu ekiple, mücadele etme cesaretini gösteren Prof.Dr. Horozoğlu, tabi ki istenmez. Ve tabi ki ayağının altına sistemli bir şekilde muz kabuğu koyarlar.
Ya başhekimin işi midir, maaş bordrolarını düzenlemek ve bunu takip edip, organize etmek ? Ve bu istifanın kabulü için kim bastırıyor ve kulis yapıp Rektör’ü iknaya çalışıyorsa, onun göstermelik gerekçelerinin aksine, işin onlarla ilgili perde arkasındaki ilişkileri ve menfaat birliklerini sorgulamalı, bulup ortaay çıkarmalı .(tabi bulabilirse)
Ne dediğimi anlamıyorsa Rektör Prof. Altun, mesela konuyu gayet iyi bildiğini bildiğim, Erciyes Kültür Merkezi ihalesiyle ilgili Sayıştay’ın denetiminde ortaya çıkan olayın, şimdi nerede olduğunu hatırlamalı ? Bu konu şu anda ağır cezada ve ihaleye fesat karıştırılma iddiasıyla soruşturma sürüyor, eski rektör de topun ağzında, o da, ihale komisyonu ve ilgili yöneticilerle birlikte sorgulanacak .Ve hatta eski rektörün de idari açıdan sorgulanmaksı için, bizatihi idari soruşturma , disiplin soruşturması talebiyle üniversite yönetimi tarafından, YÖK’e “soruşturma izin “ başvurusu yapıldı.
Tüm bunlar buzdağının ucu !
Hocam, bakın önceki gün ulusal ve uluslararası manada da çok büyük iki kuruluşun patronlarıyla bir kahvaltı yaptınız ve o kahvaltıda bu iki isim size , Başhekimle ilgili acizane bir ricada bulundu, “yapmayın, bu hoca devam etmeli görevine” dedi.
Sizce bu iki çok önemli iş insanı da yanılıyor olabilir mi ?
Ve yine söylemek isterim ki, konu maalesef taaa Vali’ye kadar da yansımış durumda.
Rektör şimdi ya, bu çıbanı patlatıp irini akıtıp yarayı temizleyip kökten tedaviye başlayacak, Erciyes Üniveristesi’ni , sülüklerin hayasızca ve doymaksızın yıllardır, kılıfına uydurarak emmesine son verip, ERÜ’ye nefes aldıracak.
Ya da, koltuğu uğruna, başhekimin istifasını kabul edip, olayı kapatacak.
Ama unutmamalı ki, artık cin şişeden çıktı, gerisi çorap söküğü gibi gelecek.
Ve Hocam sizin , temiz akademik kariyeriniz ve dürüstlüğünüze, herkesin kalıbını basacağı karakteristik yapınıza, halel getirip, şaibelere konu olmamak için, tarihi bir fırsat önünüzde.

Kafadar da, hem rektör Prof. Altun ile hem de Dekan Prof. Cemal Alper Kemaloığlu ile anlaşabilecek, uyumlu bir akademisyen, hekim.
Ancak Prof. Horozoğlu’nun istifasıyla sonuçlanan üniversitedeki genel sorunlar ile başhekim hastane boyutunda nasıl başedecek bilemiyoruz. Bekleyip göreceğiz.
