Birincisi, 16 ilçe belediye başkanı adayından, an itibariyle 13-14’ü yerini koruyacak, Develi Belediye Başkanı Mehmet Cabbar’ın aday gösterilmeyip Şeker Fabrikası’na Genel müdür olması, ya da muadili bir göreve getirilmesi kuvvetle muhtemel.
Neden, çünkü hakikaten aday gösterilmeyecekse, değerlendirilmesi gerektiği düşünülen donanımlı ve başarılı bir isim olarak telakki ediliyor.
Tomarza da kesin olmamakla birlikte değişme ihtimali olan ikinci ilçe…
Üçüncü ilçe ise, yarışa Büyükşehir nidalarıyla başlanan, şimdi oturduğu koltukta devam edip etmeyeceği belli olmayan bir yer, Melikgazi… (Öyle ya, Melikgazi koltuğuna kim oturduysa sonrasında Büyükşehir koltuğuna illa ki bir şekilde oturdu)
Aslında arkasında sağlam isimler olduğu bilinen Palancıoğlu sırf bu rahatlıkla da, kendi yeri için Melikgazi İlçe Başkanı Gökhan Ülke’ye, alenen “buradan aday ol” dedi. Bunu da, başkası açıklamadı, bizzat Melikgazi eski ilçe başkanı, Melikgazi Belediyesi yeni Başkan aday adayı Gökhan Ülke açıkladı.
Hem de, Melikgazi Ak Parti İl Binasında yaptığı basın toplantısında.
Yani Palancıoğlu Büyükşehir’e aday gösterileceğinden o kadar emindi ki, kendisinden sonraki veliahtı da, değil işaret etmek, açık seçik herkesin gözünün içine sokarcasına, adıyla soyadıyla söyledi, ve bir tek “benden sonra Gökhan Ülke Başkan” demediği kaldı.
O gün aday adaylığını açıklayan Gökhan Ülke, benim sorum üzerine de, “aday olacaksan burdan aday ol” diyerek, kendisini Palancıoğlu’nun teşvik ettiğini alenen söyledi.
Sonra ne oldu… ! Siyaseten çok acemice bu hamlelerin ardından olanlar oldu… Bu ben ne dersem o olur mantığı partide ve partililerde geri tepti… Bu da anketleri patlattı zaten…
Sonra belli ki dağlara kar yağdı, ardından güneş açtı ve bu güneş karları eritince de, Palancıoğlu, siyaseten bu karların altında kaldı.
Büyükşehir adayı olarak adının açıklanacağına çok inanan ve çevresindekilerce de inandırılan, Palancıoğlu; ORAN Kalkınma Ajansı’ndaki Genel Sekreterlik görevinden paraşütle alınmış, önce Talas’a, oradan da Melikgazi’ye, Başkan olarak sorunsuzca oturtulmuştu.
Palancıoğlu’nun, Büyükşehir için geçen sefer Erdoğan engeline takılan adaylığı, bu sefer daha yakın gibi duruyordu ve bu nedenle yüklenildi… Ama yine olmadı, papaz yine pilav yemedi.
Geçen sefer Erdoğan, “adayımız doktor” demişti. Şimdi de, bunun tıpkısıyla aynısı oldu, üstelik bu sefer anketler, daha ezici ve yakalanması zor oranlarla Büyükkılıç’ın işini kolaylaştırmıştı.
Buna bir de Erdoğan’ın “doktor” a olan, yıllara dayalı güveni ve sempatisi de eklenince, sonuç yine bir önceki gibi oldu.

Büyükkılıç Büyükşehir’e aday olunca, beri tarafta kala kala, bir Melikgazi Belediye Başkan adaylığı kaldı. Kısacası Palancıoğlu, Büyükşehir’e gidiyorum derken Melikgazi’deki koltuğundan olabilirdi. Hala da bu sıkıntı sürüyor.
