Maalesef son dönemde, siyaseten üst üste güç kaybediyor ve talihsizlikler yaşıyor.
Mehmet Özhaseki, Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanlığı’ndan ayrılıp milletvekili olarak Ankara’ya gittikten sonraki dönemlerde, yapılan Kayseri milletvekilleri listesi bir türlü ayar tutmadı ve bir türlü istenen Siyasi Voltran’ı oluşturacak ekip kurulamadı. Gözler hep onu, Özhaseki’yi aradı, o geldiyse şehir canlandı, o el attıysa şehrin sıkıntısı halledildi. Ya değilse hep siyaseten top çevrildi…
